"Allow myself to introduce....myself" - My name is Ken and, as you may have guessed from my screen-name, I'm a singer in a Blues band. I have been a HUGE Setzer fan since my oldest brother (who I'm in the band with, I'm proud to say) played me my first Stray Cats Greatest Hits CD when I was about 12 or 13 years old, about when "Guitar Slinger" was released. From then on I was blown away by Brian's guitar talent. I immediatley had to get every album that a 12 year old boy could possibly get his hands on, and I managed to pick up "Stray Cats: A Retrospective '81-'92", "Guitar Slinger", and the self-titled BSO album (on cassette ). Since then, I have been buying CD after CD, from the Orchestra, to the solo stuff, and the Stray Cats. I am proud to say that over the years, I have been able to turn my friends on to Brian Setzer's work and with the release of "13", I had friends REALLY impressed with Brian's sound. I was FINALY able to see the Orchestra perform at Foxwoods Casino, as it is the closest venue from where I live (in Rhode Island ), and once again, I was blown away. If he reads these forums: Thank you, Mr. Setzer for going against the grain and doing the stuff that you love! I hope to see you perform again soon, and also hope to see you booked in a venue IN Rhode Island. I'm looking forward to a new CD because (and I think I speak for the entire Setzer-community) I can't get enough! Keep on Rockin'!

PS: Incidentially, where can I find the rare tracks that have been playing in the Music Player? Like the rare alternate version of "Gonna Be Your Rock"? Is there a way to maybe having the music player linked to something like iTunes, and we can purchase what we hear?

Thanks for joining the forum. Welcome aboard. In regard to your question about the Music Player, for now at least, we're only going to feature tracks in that capacity. Enjoy the songs while they're there and keep your ears open for the cool selections that I'll replace the older ones with.

Firstable, I´m sorry because my English is very poor, that´s because I´m am Spanish.
I come from Zaragoza, that´s the town where next summer is celebrating the international Expo.
I work as sales manager for Volkswagen
I have to say thans to Tommy because he has always answered my e-mails at the web.

It´s said Mr. Setzer is planning to come to Spain (zaragoza) next 16th Agost...I think ity´s not possible, but hope is the last thing I´ll lose....jajaja....

I love Mr. Setzer music since I was a child. I think he´s the best in every thing he does....

I´m proud of my photo with him two years ago in Amsterdam....I´ll put it here if possible..

I'm glad there is a forum dedicated to Brian Setzer. It will be nice to discuss his music with fans as passionate as me (instead of the usual blank stares I get from my friends).

Glad to have another "official" forum..............I can understand having to comply to French laws unless they decide to officially ban punk polka within 50 meters of the eiffel tower or bring back the guillotine!

Setzer / Stray Cats fan for llllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggg time. I did post once or twice on the old official forum (scat1 I think).

First time I saw Setzer live was Stray Cats, Manchester 1989
Last time I saw Brian live was Glasgow in ....*checks T-shirt* ..... 2005! Doh!

Hey everybody, thanks for all the good vibes. We're really thrilled to bring you this forum and look forward to watching it gain more and more members. I've really missed being able to stay in contact like this. I met so many cool people on the original forum, friends that I still have to this day....even people like Budgie. (lol)

I'll try to answer as many questions as I possibly can. If someone is looking for specific info, try posting a message or starting a thread that catches my eye. Sometimes posts get lost and I don't want people to think that I'm being ellusive. I'm not Brian's spokesperson, but I'll answer as many questions as I possibly can.
