$89.. that's pretty good, cheaper than I thought it would be. The good thing about The Tivoli (the venue in Brisbane) is that it is all standing room.. and there's a balcony.. and people jump off it into the mosh pit.. do you think there will be a mosh pit for the Cats?.. As long as I'm at the front I don't really care
Kid. Hey Kid. I went to the website for Thebarton Theatre and went from there. The ticket price actually said "from", so there should be seating going by that. That means if you want to be down the front, it's going to cost you more, but hey it is a Farewell Tour!!! I went to The Tivoli site and couldn't find anything. Maybe give them a ring, they may just not have put the info on the site yet. For the é, hot down the ALT button, then type 130 on the numeric keypad and then let go of the ALT button and there you have it, or copy and paste from my post Very kind you're attention to detail René

| I'm from Ballarat which is close enough to Melbourne (but far enough away as well...) Can't wait for tickets to go on sale. Although I will admit I'm not as full on as you guys i'm really looking forward to this. Pity The Fireballs seem to have disappeared off the face of the planet coz they would be a perfect support act. | |

| Hey Chevy5684, Nice ta meet ya. Yeah the Hoodoo Voodoo Dolls are playing with us as well that night. Lucky 7 are mates of mine and Francis our bass player. not sure if ya seen them before, but really tight band. I'll be heading to the Magill Club after work on Sat as I only live a few minutes away from there. Hey Pony65K, that club is literally in your backyard. See the guitar player Dean and tell him you know Pete with the Gretsch Setzer Hot Rod that plays with Francis. You'll pick up a thing or 2 from watching him, guaranteed. Cheers Pete. | |

| Haha I just got an email from my highschool drama teacher and SHE will be at the gig!! All these years of her teaching me and I didn't even know she was a fan.. Also my old guitar teacher, well I knew HE was a fan because we talked about Brian all the time This is really weird, I wonder if any other of my highschool teachers will be there - and do I still call them Miss and Sir?.. Kid. | |

oh and another thing Kid maybe I'll be in brissy as well to see the cats Hey Chevvy5684, I went last nite, around about 11 30 and brought pizzas for Lucky 7 & and Hoodoo Voodoo Dolls. Sat outside with the guys from Lucky 7 and had dinner with them. Thai Pumpkin soup and Salt and Pepper calamari, if ya go next time eat there, it's good! I kept an eye out for ya, but don't know what you look like! Couldn't see any Wild Cat heads with crowns on top of them! hahaha!! When Lucky 7 got up and did an encore with Hoodoo, I was standing next to Dean the guitar player from lucky 7, infact when they did Johnny B Goode, he asked me if I wanted to get up and play. Should of! I don't know if ya know the guys from Lucky 7, but really great guys that appreciate their fans. Why didn't ya come up and introduce yourself? Maybe ya left by then. I heard alot of people left, maybe not into the Psychobilly scene, shame cause the Voodoo are 16-18 year olds with ALOT of talent. Cheers Pete. | |

| Let's talk supports I've mentioned The Voodoo Kreepers but Zombie Ghost Train are also great live, infact I've had great chats with the lead singer Stu simply because I was wearing a Stray Cats Tee and he came up to me (because I may seem extroverted, but I get REALLY shy around people in bands that I like).. you see, people wearing Stray Cats Tees are obviously cool Zombie Ghost Train may be too psychobilly, I don't know.. they'd definately bring more psycho's to the gig. Stu plays a signature hot rod as well Would it be better to have the same 2 or so supports the whole way through or a different 'local' support for each city?.. I really can't think of a great Brisbane band that I'd want to see.. usually the Bad Moon Company (brisbane band) get the support slot for international psychobilly/rockabilly bands in Brisbane but.. I'd rather not explain why I think they should NOT get the support slot, they just shouldn't.. trust me.. There are lots of rumours going around in the TLE forum about them supporting.. but they're just that, rumours.. I reckon a surprise appearance by Chris for a few songs would be cool.. this would probably happen in Melbourne so somebody film it for me if I'm not there In the end though, I'll be there for the Stray Cats.. not for anyone else Kid. | |

| Hey Kid, You'll find that support acts are usually bands with some sort of label. TLE would be cool, but I doubt it. Andi and yourself have the Brisbane gig stiched up haven't ya? I'm showing Pony65K some licks and riffs tomorrow nite, so he can represent Adelaide. AussieSam played at his brothers wedding, good enough for me for him to do Melbourne. Others? Cheers Pete. | |

| Hey Pete.
I've practised every day since the guitar arrived. I can't feel the tips of my fingers!! Looks like I'm either in for Crash like Thunder or Ignition. As long as it doesn't take 60 Years. I can live with 5 Years, 4 Months and 3 Days.
See you tomorrow night.
