| I thought I'd post up some shots I took from the 2005 Christmas show in Nashville, TN at the Ryman Auditorium.. Many thanks to forum member Rickabilly for giving me his ticket after he couldn't make it last-minute. I took the day off and made the 4 hour drive from Atlanta. Cheers. | |

| Dude! If you're gonna add to my pain of not being able to see that show, at least tell the story of meeting Jumpin' Gene Simmons!
Please!

Benefactor-billy Okay okay. Gene was hanging around after the show in the alley behind the Ryman. I was waiting there with a couple other people waiting to see if I could get a photo with Brian. It was freezing freezing cold outside, and I was just gonna go home. Gene came around with his son and we struck up a conversation. He was laughing at Brian's tour bus and telling me about having to ride in the back of a car with all of his gear and his band while he was touring in his early days. We talked about him playing with Elvis and Johnny Cash and his days with Sun Records. I thought it was really great that he would stand out in the cold and chat. When he had to go, he gave me his phone number and told me to "give him a call if I'm ever in Tupelo and we can go get a sandwich or somethin'." He was a really genuine, really awesome guy. A good man, and well missed. Gene passed away a little less than a year later, and I never made it back through Tupelo before then.

| I love that story! I am thrilled radioclash got that once-in-a-lifetime experience: Setzer at the Ryman and an audience with a Sun Records rockabilly original. I've tried to be jealous over that missed opportunity over the years, and I just can't. I know the ticket went to the right person. Good on ya, Derek! | |

| Speaking of this topic...I reluctantly returned my tickets 2 days ago in the mail...it was sad to place the two little tickets with great seats and send them away...not to mention my daughter's disappointment that she wasnt' going.....oiy...I'm still NOT taking her to see that Hannah Montanna girl or the Jonas Bro's.....or any of that non-sense. Noooooooooo... | |

That is incorrect also, Kid... But I do think the Grinch borrowed Tommy's pants for his stage attire! From Who-ville, Budge

Nice Fotos by the way!! Hey Tommy, I like the way you Skip over answering that, way to keep the mystery alive!!! On, a side note, I missed getting tix to that show, but I had a gig right across the alley, and Spazz, Bernie and some of the other guys came over and if memory serves, spazz and bernie sat in. The sadness of missing that show was redeemed on the 06 tour when we opened for the BSO at the ryman.... g
