Quiff or Pomp

OK, so, what is the difference between a Quiff and a Pomp ?

One saturday morning, around 10-11, me and a buddy were sittin' around in my garage havin' a couple beers, and we had this great idea. We were gonna go to the stylist in the mall at JCPenney (where the ladies go) and get a trim.

When we sat down and they asked us what we wanted... "Gimme a mullet!"

All the young stylists, well, their eyes lit up, as if to say "This is gonna be fun!" But the older one, the one behind my chair, refused to take my money, saying she could give me a "nice, clean haircut"... she got one of the younger ones to cut my hair instead. They gave us "steps" in the sides, too. It was cool in grade-school!

My girlfriend at the time was NOT pleased, but we thought it was damn good fun, just to show up at a salon, fork out our hard-earned cash for an over-priced train-wreck of a "haircut" that we could have done ourselves, and make the stylists laugh.

Plus, I think that was the day I picked up "13" from the mall. Very productive day.

Quiff is usually sprayed, and a lot taller.

Pomp is done with grease.
