John Fogerty

WOW
Last night for the first and maybe last time in my life i saw John Fogerty live in Munich.
It was so awsome.
His voice is still so strong and his Guitar Skills are just fantastic.
He also had a great band with a Hammond Organ Player, a fiddle/hawaii guitar player, a drummer, a bassist and 2 rythm guitarists.
One of them looked like Jack Black with a beard and the other one was Billy Burnette!!!
I had heard the name somewhere and knew he was also rockabilly influenced and he was awsome!
Right after rockin' all over the world he smiled at me and threw his pick right in my direction and I caught it.
Some kind of 2 meters tall basketballplayer wanted to steal it from me when it fell down right after I couldn't grab it hard enough so i gave him a headnut and he let go of it^^
I'm sorry if this sounded weird, but I'm still so excited!

When he is in the CCR mode, it's just like a jukebox of hits rollin out of him...

and his new material stands pretty well...

You folks across the pond have gotten a lot of artists touring over there this year....if the dollar ever improves, please send them back !!

John Fogerty is a blast live. He just gets up there and looks like he's loving every minute of being up there. Glad you had a great time. Contrats on the guitar pick!

This Video is exactly what his Tour Band was like.
You can see Billy (who gave me the pick) in about 3:00 (he is the one on the left).
I also found out who the other Guitar Player is. He's called Hunter Perrin and he's also great.
Throughout the evening he mostly played a beautiful black Gretsch Duojet.
