I just wanted to refer to the above message incase people didn't know you had the info a little mixed up. Yes Rick Intveld was in the plane crash with Nelson, but he was his drummer (and a mighty fine one I might add). He was the younger brother of James Intveld. Also the bassist if you wanted to know was Pat Woodward. Pat and Rick played with James, they called themselves the Rockin' Shadows. And they were tight!

Glad to see interest in the Intvelds, they are great people and VERY VERY talented!!! I've followed James' career since I was a teeny-bopper.

And now we're talking about trivia. James Intveld was born in the Netherlands, in Venlo to be exactly. Strange but true. A pretty good story on this guy can be found here
