| Hello everyone,
Has anyone noticed that the presale link for Manchester says the gig is at the University and not the Academy - is this correct?
Cheers,
Tony | |

| Tony, think this has been covered somewhere. The Academy is indeed at or by the University and is NOT the same venue as the 2004 tour.Rather confusingly, that gig was at at The Manchester 'Carling Academy' but I believe someone said it is or used to be called The Apollo.Shame as the car park opposite was well handy. Cheers Steve | |

| Compared to some tickets I've bought online, the process just seemed so easy.... I had to keep re-reading my email to make sure I really have those wonderful tickets in my possession! Looks like I do, though | |

Yup that did seem easy didnt it? I was expecting to get the tickets sent by email but they are being sent out by snail mail The bugger is that I've tracked the order of my tickets and they are saying that the tickets are not in stock yet so they'll be sent out as soon as they arrive I'm still on a high though Cheers PP | |

| The 2004 gig was indeed at the Manchester Apollo. I live 10 minutes from the Manchester University-the Academy is situated right next door. This is the same venue The Cats played back in 1992 on the Choo Choo tour. It has been closed for around a year or more due to renovation but i pass it everyday and it is very close to completion. If any Cats out there need any info regarding directions or buses to and from the gig let me know. This venue is around 5 minutes from Manchester city centre and the 3 train stations. If anyone is going by train then i advise you to get off at Oxford road station as the Academy and University is about 3 minutes away. Cheers and see you at the gig Brucie | |

| If you staying in the city centre of Manchester you will be next to Piccadilly bus station so just get a bus from there to the venue. You can hop on a bus which will take you there in a few minutes. the buses you can choose from are the numbers... 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 49 142 143 These buses are every couple of minutes so you wont have to wait - it will cost you between 70 pence and one pound to the university. Regarding parking-it's difficult to say as this is a really busy area - you can park near the venue as there are loads of side streets around there. I would advise you to park your car in one of the city centre car parks and hop on the bus for a few minutes. You can even let me know what time you planning on arriving and i will meet you and show you where to park and where to get the bus. Hope this helps Brucie | |
