2008 Tour?

Are there any indications of what the next tour will be- BSO, Nashvillans, Stray Cats, or what? I'll take BS any way I can, just cuious of what to expect.

Whatever comes next, we'll be lucky if it happens in the UK !!!!

I will pay an arm and a leg to see a 68 CBS show.

Odds are low, but I would still pay

ITS BEEN AGES SINCE SETZER HAS BEEN TO AUSTRALIA.THERE ARE SO MANY FANS HERE WHO DONT GET TO SEE THEIR IDOL.
I WOULD TAKE SETZER ANY WAY HE CHOSE TO PLAY IN AUSTRALIA. IDEALLY THE STRAY CATS WOULD BE MY FIRST CHOICE,FOLLOWED
CLOSELY BY THE ORCHESTRA.THERE MUST BE AWAY TO GET HIM DOWNUNDER.MAYBE THE STRAY CATS COULD COME ALONG WITH THE
OTHER BANDS THEY TOURED WITH IN 07.PERHAPS HE COULD TOUR WITH SOME GOOD HOME GROWN AUSSIE TALENT,I.E THE LIVING END.
THERE MUST BE A PROMOTER WHO WOULD TAKE HIM,IF I HAD THE MONEY I WOULD FOR SURE.I SAW LEE ROCKER AND SLIM JIM WHEN THEY TOURED HERE IN MELBOURNE .BUT ULIMATELY I WOULD LOVE TO SEE BRIAN PLAY LIVE.(GOD I NAMED MY CAT SETZER) CAN YOU
BELIEVE THIS.IF THERE IS A MUSIC GOD I WISH BRIAN WILL SOMEDAY SOON PLAY IN MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA.

A third Cats tour without any new record seems a little difficult to imagine (even we can all hope for this), a BSO tour before Xmas...
A new trio tour, yes that might be something like this... After a new album ? A 2nd tribute ? An Eddie Cochran (1938-2008...) tribute ?

(After another British tour) I'd also vote for our Australian cousins to get a visit. Quite often I've seen desperate Aussies pleading for a visit by Setzer/ the Cats!

I saw them in Chicago. By far the best Setzer show I've seen since the 82-83 Stray Cats.

I travelled from Spain to see Brain Setzer and the Nasvillians at Paradiso. It was a very beautiful place to see and a grat permormance of Mr. Setzer....but maybe this time you will travel to Spain to see The Cats???? Maybe....

Saw Stray Cats in 4 different countries for their 2004 tour, saw Nashvillians in 2........since 2 key members doing other tours this summer....have a hudge doubt about a coming european tour....we shall see.Won't believe that they coming for only one show

Some of you may know Lee Rocker has a message board on his website. It appears Lee himself is confirming a European tour this summer, with details to follow some time later.

"I can confirm that the Stray Cats will tour Europe this summer! This will be the Farewell to Europe tour. I can't list the dates until they are confirmed. We'll post more info as soon as possible." - Lee Rocker 02/13/2008 10:50am PST


I'd still wait for the official word on the precise details before speculating on dates and such.

I believe that once Lee, Brian, and Jim storm the continent, it will crumble and fall into the sea.

Either that, or I missed the "Re-name the Continent" contest on the Official EU message board.

Personally, seeing as it's a farewell tour, I'd re-name the continent "Cher."

Does that mean there will be no "Farewell to the US" leg of the tour? That would truly suck for US fans that can't afford the funds or time off from work to travel to Europe. I sincerely hope they will add a US leg. Maybe we should start lobbying for this immediately.

i think we should wait to see where they will be touring before getting out the petitions, etc...
