If there is to be a tour, I'm guessing the promoters do not want to release dates until EVERYTHING is finalized, or until most of the dates are booked. Knowing about a date now doesn't permit anyone to get their tickets any sooner. I realize there's a lot of gossip about an August date in Spain, but I'm sure there are plenty of good reasons why no one has made that official yet.
Last year's Jack-FM tour was supposed to come off that way, but because individual radio stations couldn't wait to promote their local shows, details slipped out one-by-one, and some of us bought tickets for shows quite a distance away, only to find out later that there were Cats-only shows and shows much closer to home. Others simply added a stop to their itinerary.
I completely understand the excitement of the possibility of a Stray Cats tour, but I'm sure when there's something to tell, the official word will be dropped in plenty of time to score tickets and make travel plans.
