Here is my song transcription of "Buzz Buzz" off of the Guitar Slinger BSO CD. Instead of chord charts this time, with permission, I decided to post an actual transcription (notes, tablature, chord symbols, etc.) Thanks go out to Flattop Rob for helping me figure out how to upload a .pdf file and for Ponczek007 for suggesting a Tab Forum addition to the site. Hopefully this will inspire some more similar additions, and maybe we can collectively go through the rest of the catalog (lol). Ok, now onto the song.
Buzz Buzz (Performance/Transcription Notes):
1. Key of E minor.
2. Intro. (and repeats) chord sequence could also be some combination of Em7(or Em9)-Eb7#9(or Eb9)-Dm7(or Dm9)-Db7#9(or Db9)-C7-B7.
3. 007 Chords - They appear 3 times, after each intro. figure. I may not have the exact notes/positions correct, but figure some form of Em13(maj9) with select notes. So in other words any of these notes might fit in the chord (E,F#,G,B,C#,D#). The original "007" chord in Dr. No was played at root position and was an Em13(maj9).
4. Chorus Arpeggiated chords - I didn't notate these 100% to what is on the record, but the basic chords are there, just mess around and you'll uncover the fills/extensions.
That's all enjoy the transcription, and feel free to post comments/corrections.
P.S. If anyone is interested, and someone wants to work out the vocal melody line that could be added to the sheet music for a future post.
