| Cool. I'll take the anthrax. I have a special Budge-scotti recipe that uses a 1/4 cup. They're especially fabulous with a lighter fluid chaser. | |

| OK Posting.... Hi my screen name is Amity and thats my real name. How original right? My av is a pic I found on the internet of Brian with banjo and I really liked it just for that reason. Always see photos of him and his Gretsch, which is wonderful, but the fact that he plays banjo too, so d@mn well, just rocks. | |

| Thanks for the kind offer, Aristocat. But your superior math skills earned you the pick fair and square. Well done, you!
OK, back to the topic at hand:
I've been asked this question several times over the years when people introduce me as "Rickabilly":
"What's your real name?"
That kills me every time. Isn't it obvious?
It's Edith McGillicuddy.

| Well I assume that your real name is Richard.. at least you didn't take the other shortened version of Richard and started calling yourself Dickabilly Kid. | |

| Back in the 30s and 40s, it wasn't all that uncommon for boys named "Richard" to be given the nickname "Dick," a fate sadly bestowed upon my father. Luckily, my mother was a Ricky Nelson fan. I'd rather be known as "Little Richard" than "Little... Edith."

| Well, there are some people who have hilarious last names when you change Richard to Dick.. Richard Cheese for example is a favourite of mine, a friend of mine is Richard Wood.. ahhhh, thank you whoever thought that changing Richard to Dick was a good idea Kid. | |

I always thought Rickabilly WAS your name. Hmm... I was ready to give your parents all kinds of credit for their creativity in naming you! Turns out you have a recycled name? Blonde-ness

Reminds me of a friend of my parents, who sadly died, but his name was Richard and his nickname to everyone was Dicket. Better than Dick but I never understood how Richard = Dick.

| I don't know if it is like this in other places - but in Australia tall/big people are nicknamed 'Tiny'.. People with red hair are nicknamed 'Bluey'.. yeah, lots of nicknames don't make sense really..

| Well 8-10 years ago when I first started using the internet(and was scared to death of it lol) originally I picked names that might have a relation with what type of site it was, then I got tired of trying to pick different names for everything. One freezing winter's day I decided on Summer..which of course was taken...so I went for summerz(wishing it was summer(without the humidity ) I use it for most everything these days(except the Denver Bronco's board I am 2 Minute Warning...just cuz) As for avatars...I have made sooo many for people but can;t decide what I want sometimes. I'm Wall-E for now I'm sure that will change. | |
