Clay I saw them earlier this year in Baltimore...they did fun covers of "Rock this Town" and "Ace of Spades" along with a good selection of their own stuff including a good sing-a-long to the toothbrush song. You'll have a great time.

| Reverend Horton Heat is the man. He is the best live guitar player i have ever seen. He is flawless jsut jaw dropping amazing. When i saw him i was right in front of him and it was awesome!!! The Rev is soo good. And Jimbo is a realy good bass player the DVD doesnt do him justice at all. | |

| Clay, I've seen the Reverend several times, and he always puts on an excellent show. Expect him to play loud and to be dressed wild and rockabilly. He used to open with "Big Sky" and then go right into "Baddest of the Bad" from the Liquor in the Front album, which just rocked. Whatever he does, it will be great. Give us an update after the show! It's been a few years since I've seen him. --Brandon | |

| I have seen the Rev a good 5-6 times now, and they are always awesome.
They have a "heat list" on their website where they make the public knowledgable about venues that do not take care of the talent by offering A/C on the stage and only keep it hot in the venue to sell more drinks and make more money. I have been fortunate to see them at one of those venues in Nebraska about 3 of those times, and each time, you could see on Jim's (The Rev) face that he was not happy with the atmosphere. It was hot on those nights, and he had to wipe himself off constantly from sweat.
On the other hand, I have also seen the Rev at the 2 best venues in america. House of Blues-Orlando and First Avenue in Minneapolis. HOLY CRAP!
They prove to be such a talented 3-piece band and just kick the asses of so many fans with their energy and power.
If you have a chance to see them, do it!
-BK
ps. check out their DVD, very well worth the $$$ (if under 25$)

| I think Rev´s maybe first 5 albums were classics, later ones still ok. When i first time saw him live in 90´s it was wonderful, but then 2 years later i saw them in same place, he told exactly same jokes between songs and setlist was almost same..so maybe little "routine",but hey he still does hundreds of gigs per year(year after year).so who wouldn´t be??...When Rev came in early 90´s,it was same kind of "fresh" air to me as Stray Cats in early 80´s.I think they got very near to big breakthrough, but didn´t quite make it. | |

| You are going to have a great time. Reverend Horton Heat is one of the best live bands I've ever seen and I've converted several people to rockabilly fans through their shows. They have so many good songs, and do a good mix of old/new/slow/fast/rockabilly/country. The last time I saw them they were doing something they called "the rock through time", where they covered songs from various time periods. They played everything from Greensleeves to Black Sabbath to Nirvana to (of course) a little Stray Cats. Have fun! We're all jealous of you! | |
