wow, that was interesting. I have 18000 songs or so in my ipod, and it ranges from Classical to Extreme Metal to punk to Audio versions of classic literature.

Sometimes when I bang my head it's because Jackyl is comin' out of the speakers. I've been a trucker for 20+ years and can appreciate the dark side when BR549 plays "18 wheels and a crowbar".

Psychobilly, punk, 60's soul and reggae, a LOT of garage rock/punk...

I was a punk in the 70s and still listen to all that stuff but I'm a sucker for 70's American singers like Harry Chapin, Stephen Bishop and Dean Friedman - just remembering good times when I was young I guess!

Any of you Americans out there remember these artists or were they just popular in the UK?

I guess I'm kind of an oddball here - since it's my husband that is the big Stray Cats/Setzer fan, but I too have grown to love them of course.
