| "Ya know deep down that it's gonna be a hummer"..................hahahahahahaaaa!! What the heck is that?!
Anyway....the very cool Stray Cats' Story is now loaded in the MUSIC PLAYER. So get clickin' and check out a 23 year old Brian tell you the Tale of the Cats as it existed in early 1983. I left in the skips and warm vinyl tones for ya!
Hey.....first person to post a message on THIS THREAD telling us all what error was included by the interviewer will receive a very cool Setzer Fan Parcel. Listen to all 10 parts of the "Story" and post the incorrect statement here!
GO GO GO!

| Okay I'll give it a shot. She says that it was at a concert that Lee took a turn at singing lead on Drink That Bottle Down. He wrote that song and was the vocalist on the original recorded version, right?
Edit: Okay, he didn't write it alone, all 3 of them are credited. But he did sing the original recording. | |

| I think I have it Tommy. Drink Your Bottle Down WAS released on an ep....she claims it was unreleased. I own the ep...'cause I'm old . I believe it has "Sweet Love On My Mind" on it as well, but the rest escapes me unless I dig it out. For those of you too young to know, an ep was in between a single and an album release (size wise)...usually with 4 songs on it. Do I get a "hummer"? Nudge nudge wink wink. | |

| Well, she says the Cats Head Logoo appeared on the back of their first album.
Not on my copies !!!!!
First Album was "Stray Cats", released in the UK. The Cats head logo is not on it.
Cheers

| Hey Pete I'm with ya for a pint or several. My second job (well I say second job I've been doing the bar and door for 26 years) and I was working last nite, big Glasgow Celtic crowd in so it was very busy and I had to join them in a celebratory drink. Needless to say I went overboard. Well my head is banging here in work and I need a cure. It's so bad I can only listen to a compilation of Doo Wop, no rocking till later. Hey I wouldn't turn anyone away at the door coz their Pompadour was too high. Liam Sore Head a Billy | |
