| I found this on the internet - thought I'd share it with the rest of the Setzer junkies on here! Hope the link works!
In 1996, Brian Setzer performed this show at Linda's Doll Hut with just his guitar. .
- Intro - Rumble In Brighton - Gene & Eddie - Rev It Up & Go - Buit For Speed - Too Hip Gotta Go - Cruisin - Lookin' Better Every Beer - Rock This Town - Your Cheatin Heart - Runaway Boys - Fishnet Stockings

| The event was a fundraiser to benefit an injured member of a hot rod car club, if I recall correctly, and Setzer's surprise appearance was unannounced.
It took place on Nov. 9, 1996 at a small bar called Linda's Doll Hut in Anaheim, Calif., and the audio recording is taken from a handheld video recording that exists.
Anything else you can add, Buddy?

| I remember that show, I was right up front at the bar and Brian was about 5 feet away from me. Brian just came down, didn't bring his own guitar even. Brian borrowed Dan Edwards (at the time with group called The Sun Demons) guitar, it was a 6118 two one green anniversary Gretsch. I have, or at least I think I still have a ton of pictures from that night. I'll see if I still have them and post a couple here. It was a lot of fun, just Brian and his guitar. Brian's wife at the time, Christine, was there also. The place is just called the Doll Hut now, Linda now longer owns it. Later & Have A Gretsch Day ! Ross | |
