bands wanted!!!

Is there any bands out there???
i've got the opportunity to put some bands on this summer. A local custom bike shop wants to put on open days/parties & have asked me if i can sort the entertainment, so any one interested lemmee know!

I wish you every success with finding bands for your show. Meantime, if you know anyone seeking an aging stand up drummer, with gear / p.a. light show / van etc, who wants to play for fun, i've been seeking that gig for the last ten years... to no avail!!! You may not be able to make cold hard cash from playing rockabilly in this country, but you CAN find an audience and they innevitably ROCK!!!

Yes to band at bike shop,and yes to stand up drummer!!! if you don't mind hopping over to so-cal USA, or Drummer find a bass player,bike shop sell some bikes and send me a plane ticket,and a ticket to the Stray Cat !!! not asking to much am I ??? STAY COOL CATS Buddy

Couldn't I ship your band over here to England. You can live in my cellar. It's damp, but I can offer a lot of love and affection and an almost endless supply of 18 y o single malt..... C'mon, whaddya say? I was a good drummer, witha decent stand uop technique - honest!!!!

HI Ash, I play in a 50’s Rockabilly/Rock and Roll band based in the North East of England called The Alley Cats. The band covers a wide range of songs from the 50’s; Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Gene Vincent, Elvis etc mixed in with some modern day rockabilly from the Stray Cats.
Do you have any more details on the event:dates times etc.
You can contact me through email if you want more info/demo/biog of the band.

will deff keep you in mind,even tho its a bit far away i,m in essex. Got no dates yet but will let you no if & when

Our band is Surrey/Hampshire based and plays rockabilly, rock'n'roll, jump blues and a bit of classic rock.
