| Here's my Gibson Country Gentleman. I want to put a fixed handle on it. I'm tired of this one. Will just the handle fit or should I get me a new B6 Bigsby? | |

| you just need the handle, loosen the strings and flip the handle back and you will see a allen bolt loosen it and slide the handle off, then you install the new handle make sure the allen bolt lines up with indent on shaft!!! Buddy | |

| Sounds easy! What worries me more is that my B6 doesn't have the little upstanding "stop"-edge on top. The normal handle you can't spin around all the way. Mine you can. But that wouldn't be a problem would it? | |

| Nice axe, Patrick. And don't worry, you're not the only Gibson player on here. Although I do have an Cadillac Green Country Club I also have a 1952 Es-295 that both Carl Perkins and Scotty Moore signed for me in 1992. I would likely never sell it...someday I'll post it on here.

| A '52 ES295?? Do you have pics??? My 1990 ES295 is just fine. It's the way it came. So with the p100's I'm not gonna take them out. Besides I don't have the cash for an original anyway... | |

| I'll take some and put them up. I bought it about 15 years ago and it cost me about the same as a second hand 6120 at the time (2000-ish) But buying another one now would be quite cost prohibitive. I'd still really like a mid 50's L-5...maybe some day when I need a guitar more than a car! | |

I know what you mean. My family gets hungry from time to time.... I once almost swapped my ES295 for a ES350 from the same period. Too bad I don't have both. Are your photo's on your pc? Then you have to put them in an album on internet. I logged into Imageshack. But there are other sites ofcourse. Flickr.com is a good one too. I don't think you can put pics here straight from your pc. | |
