Ok, so this is guitar related and well, I have to share. My daughter started to take guitar lessons in September. She's been enjoying them, but tells me her fingers hurt (I can't relate, but I'm sure most of you can). scratch

She switched guitars last week and this one suited her much better size wise. Her instructor came out after lessons and told us that it was a huge improvement switching guitars.

So, she is now invited to participate in their annual recital and he wants her to play "Wonderful Tonight" (Eric Clapton). Not everyone is invited, only when the teacher feels they are ready.

Yeah, that brought some happy tears to my eyes. I love you

Wonderful song, great choice."Clapton is god"!!! Eric wrote that song for his wife Patty Boyd in 1978 ,as he wrote for her "Layla" in 1970 (Derek & the Dominoes-"Layla & other assorted love songs") when Patty was Gerge Harrison's wife and Eric fell in love with her.He knew her when he was guest guitarist for the recording sessions of Beatles' WHITE ALBUM where he plaied the great solo in WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS. I love Eric "Slowhand" Clapton.I plaied that song several times and always took me good but also sad memories (lost love ecc. ecc.)!!!!

Thank you! It is very nice to see...our other daughter just received an award in Karate...so I'm just gushing with pride!

Tonight at guitar lessons, the usual teacher wasn't there so there was a sub and my daughter came out all giggly because he was from Ireland and loved the accent. She rode all the way home trying to talk like him. LOL!!!
