Nein neue Tonabnehmer kommen zwar irgendwann rein, aber im Moment bin Ich erstmal total Pleite, bin mir auch noch nicht sicher was ich einbauen will, aber Ich hab' ne Seite entdeckt wo Ich alnico Filtertrons für 45 Euro das Stück kriegen würde, muss ich noch'n paar Nächte drüber schlafen.

I put really TV jones classics in mine and it is the best sounding guitar i have ever played.

Thats so amazing looking. I'm getting one in a while I just need the dough. I'll probably put a pin-up, custom pickgaurd and TV jones on mine. I really wish they made a honeydew colored one though. Orange is my favorite color and all I just think that honeydew is the perfect color for a guitar. (yeah Im weird.)

Congrats on the new 5120!!! I'm hoping to get mine this Friday coming up (4/11). I was also torn between black and orange, but since my Strat is black I decided to go with orange. Plus it has that classic rockabilly look. Can't wait!

That sure is a fine lookin' guitar ya have there. The colour really suits the Gretsch, it's almost a prerequisite.
Now the kicker is...are ya gonna hot rod it? I don't think I know 1 rocker that doesn't do something to his guitar to make it 'his'. Any ideas?

Oh, yes, I'm going to customize it a bit!
The first thing I wanna do is exchanging the Pickguard, I don't like the Clear Plexi Pickguards. Parhaps I got luck and get some Stray Cats Signatures on it this September !
Anytime I also want to put some new Pickups on it.
But since I bought that Axe, I don't have any money left , so I have to wait a bit till I can start customizing .

Wow - sorry I haven't checked in for a while, and now I'm seeing that I've got a few questions directed towards me. So, better late than never...

The Artcore - was in Transparent Blue. I say was, because I sold it a few days after posting the thing on my blog.

Custom pickguards - Look up Paul Setzer on gretschpages.com - he's the man for the custom guards. Unfortunately, I haven't ordered mine yet, because I still can't figure out how I want one made.
