Triborough Budge Well, Budgie, the taxi drivers at LaGuardia Airport just gave me empty stares when I told them to take us there last summer. We had quite a few hours to kill the day after Jones Beach, so we thought we'd go "pilgrimmin" before the plane took us to visit the family. Well - it didn't happen. These days you obviously HAVE to have the address, thanks to the inventors of GPS So in order to be well-prepared for our next trip; what IS the address??? Anders

Hahahaaa!!! The saddest part is... it's practically walking distance from Laguardia! Just have to follow the Grand Central Parkway service road towards the bridge and you'd have been there in 4 minutes!! Though it hasn't been the "Airline Diner" in many years... Did you ask for the Airline Diner or Jackson Hole Diner? Jackson Hole Diner, 69-35 Astoria Boulevard at 70th Street... for the next time! Airline Budgie

Airline Budgie I think I said Airline Diner, but that the name might not be the same anymore. I gave them all the info I had; that it had been used in several movies (and a certain album cover), but no luck! Instead we spent, well... I don't remember HOW many hours in that extremely boring (at least once you go through security) LaGuardia Airport. On top of everything, the plane that was taking us to Minneapolis was delayed and we thought we wouldn't make it there in time for the corresponding flight to Minot. But thanks to different time zones, we did. And after that, everything went smoooth. I'd still like to see that Diner one day, though, so thanks for the info Budgie! Anders

| Just went there last Saturday to emulate Budgie's avatar. I find it amusing that we both screwed up the proper positioning of the left hand. I need to get a hobie. | |

| I agree with Budgie...everyone's avatar should be a picture at the diner just to show our true fandom/geekiness. I agree with Budgie as well, you can't blame the picture for bloatiness, Tommy. (Although you could blame the 7oz burger!) | |
